Terms of Service

Accounts, licenses, and race-day use.

These terms govern your use of RallyComm accounts, the Android app, billing, and related services operated by J3 Automated Systems. Questions: support@rallycomm.com.

1. The product

RallyComm is an Android application for in-car rally communications. Radio defaults to RallyComm PTT; bring your own Zello Work network as an alternate. Hardware such as an I/O box, cables, or a qualified tablet is optional, sold or specified separately, and the I/O dock ships after dock bench. We do not operate or host a Zello Work network for you.

2. Accounts and licenses

You must be able to enter a contract. Keep credentials confidential. Subscriptions are billed per licensed car phone. Active installs cannot exceed the purchased quantity. A license stays on a device until you release it in the app or we clear it for a replacement at your request.

3. Acceptable use

Use RallyComm for legitimate motorsport and team communications. Do not attempt to bypass entitlements, share a single seat across extra cars, abuse tracking pages, or interfere with other customers. You are responsible for radio discipline, spectrum rules, and any Zello Work terms that apply to your network.

4. Billing

Plans are monthly unless we state otherwise: Basic $19, Pro $39, and Pro Plus $69 per licensed car phone. Upgrades prorate through Stripe. You can manage payment methods and cancellation in the customer portal. Fees already charged are not refunded except where required by law. Sponsorship codes are single-purpose grants from the issuing team.

5. Software

The Android app is distributed as a private APK, not through the Play Store, unless we later publish it there. You may install it on devices you control. Updates may be required for continued access. The app is provided as-is for race conditions — cellular, GPS, and Bluetooth can fail in the field.

6. Liability

RallyComm is a communications aid, not a safety-critical control system. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost race time, missed notes, or damages arising from connectivity, GPS, audio routing, or third-party radio services. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

7. SMS program disclosures

Program name: RallyComm Operational Messaging, operated by J3 Automated Systems. Applies to hardware that still sends operational SMS. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is variable — typically 5–50 messages per active racing event, and zero messages outside events. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. Support: support@rallycomm.com.

Operators who add a recipient number represent that they have that person’s express consent. Recipients can reply STOP or email privacy@rallycomm.com. Consent evidence is published at /sms-consent.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after the date above is acceptance of the current version.
