This page documents the call-to-action shown at the time a RallyComm device operator enters a recipient phone number for operational SMS. Recipients are personally known crew members, family contacts, or event safety officials selected by the operator.

Recipient Consent Required (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

U.S. carriers require us to confirm every recipient has given express consent before RallyComm, a J3 Automated Systems Design, sends them SMS. The checkbox below is shown blank by default, separate from purchase, subscription activation, account setup, and Terms acceptance. It is checked only after the operator confirms the person whose number they just entered personally agreed, verbally or in writing, to receive operational text messages from that RallyComm device.

The operator adds a recipient in the RallyComm device's local Twilio SMS settings. On the same screen as the recipient name and phone number fields, an unchecked SMS consent checkbox displays the RallyComm Operational Messaging service name, J3 Automated Systems, variable message frequency, Message and data rates may apply, HELP support instructions, and STOP opt-out instructions. The recipient is not saved until the operator confirms direct consent for that specific phone number. Consent is not bundled with Terms acceptance, purchase, subscription activation, or any unrelated service.

Campaign Description

J3 Automated Systems operates RallyComm, a hardware SMS communicator used by motorsports teams, support crews, and event organizers to coordinate during rally and off-road racing events. The device is purchased by a team operator (driver, co-driver, crew chief, or event official) who configures a short list of team members and emergency contacts on the device's local web UI. The device then sends operational messages - status updates, GPS position pings, button-press alerts ("rolled", "OK", "need fuel", "medical"), service interval reminders, and emergency notifications - to those pre-configured recipients only. There is no marketing, no third-party messaging, and no contact lists imported from outside sources. Each device has a unique 10DLC number that serves as its identity to the operator's hand-picked recipients.
